VOLUNTEERS

Our volunteers are a very important part of the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge 2009.  In fact, it would be almost impossible to run this event without them.

Volunteers from the Tall Ships 2000 race

Volunteers are needed for many diverse activities, such as:

Interpreters - ships are coming from 8 non-English speaking countries, so far.

Chauffeuring the Race Officials, once they arrive in Bermuda.

Work in the Crew Centre - this will be a very busy place!

Help the Social Committee with social functions.

Help secure or provide accommodation for crews changing over in Bermuda.

General driving of people and items that need to move around Bermuda.

IT support.

Help prepare for, run and clean up after the crew party.

Run errands - anywhere and everywhere!

Sort and deliver ships' mail.

Assist with crew exchanges.

Help the Official Race Team.

Use your boats to take folks to and from ships.

Filling "goody bags" for the crews.

Photocopying in the Tall Ships office - as well as other general office work.

Other jobs that will come up, which we haven't thought of - yet!

Persons wishing to offer their services as Volunteers can now sign up here!
